Mark J. West, President/Loan Originator
Mark is a native of Northern England, moved to the United States in 1975 and lived throughout the States until moving to Baton Rouge in 1984. A graduate of LSU, Mark has been in the mortgage banking industry for the past fifteen years and associated with Homebuyer's Resource Group since its inception in 1996. Mark is president and owner of Homebuyer's Resource Group as well as a full-time loan originator.

Monica began her career in the mortgage industry over 20 years ago in New Orleans where she was born and raised. She quickly became a leader in loan processing and naturally stepped right into loan origination. Monica joined our team in January 2006 and is one of our top producers due in no small part to her positive attitude, courteous attitude and vast knowledge. Monica is a strong advocate for her customers who continue to refer their friends and coworkers to her in growing numbers.
Monica and her husband, Rob, have lived in Baton Rouge since 1990, have two teenage children and are members of St. George Catholic Church. Monica would be delighted to assist with any of your mortgage needs.
Steven Schiele, Mortgage Loan Specialist
Steven joined our team in November 2008; the mortgage and real estate industries have been Steven’s passion for over 9 years. Steven was born in Natchez MS; after graduating from Southeastern Louisiana State University, Steven entered the mortgage industry and has since devoted himself to being a dedicated professional who strives to find the right mortgage for each client, building his referral-based business one client at a time, and ensuring that each transaction is handled in a timely stress-free manner. By always working to maintain these standards, Steven has established a solid reputation in the Louisiana real estate market. Steven prides himself on always being available to his clients, offering a consultative approach to each individual loan scenario and keeping up to date with the latest mortgage industry trends. Steven currently resides in Denham Springs with his wife and newly born child. Steven enjoys sports, the beach and is a member of the Denham Spring Chamber of Commerce and the Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation.
